We are recruiting for a skilled Paint Prepper to join a busy independent Bodyshop in Lewes, East Sussex. Working on a diverse range of vehicles including race cars, classics, sports cars, vans and private customer vehicles, this is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist environment where attention to detail and quality are key.

• Preparing vehicles for paint
• Carrying out sanding, masking and primer application
• Ensuring vehicles are ready for the paint process to a high standard
• Supporting the wider paint and Bodyshop team
• Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety standards

This role would suit an experienced Paint Prepper looking to join a specialist workshop offering a varied workload and stable long‑term employment.

• Previous experience in a Paint Prepper or vehicle preparation role
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Time‑served candidates will be considered
• Bodyshop qualifications are advantageous but not essential

• Salary up to £35,000
• Annual bonus scheme (business performance dependent)
