Veterinary Receptionist - Part-Time

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced Veterinary Receptionist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team of people who have a passion for animal care. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience. You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, take payments, and assist with general administrative tasks.

You will also support the team with any other administrative tasks as required by the Practice Manager, Clinical Director or Head Nurse.

Cliffe Vets is a well-established mixed practice with dedicated Small Animal, Farm, and Equine departments. We’re based in the historic town of Lewes, East Sussex, just 10 miles from the vibrant city of Brighton. Our supportive team comprises experienced veterinarians, animal technicians, administrative staff, and a dispensary team. We actively encourage professional development, and several of our team members are working towards or hold post-graduate certificates.

This is a part-time position for our Small Animal Department, 31.5 hours average a week over 4 days, plus a minimum of one Saturday morning a month. You will work 2 days at our Ringmer Surgery (Mon & Tues) and then half a day on Thursday & a full day on Friday at our Lewes Surgery. Saturdays are at the Lewes Surgery;

a full driving licence to travel between surgeries is required.
