Catering Assistant

Immediate start.

25 hours per week:
Monday to Friday 3.15pm to 7.15pm

28 days paid Holiday per year and Double time for bank holidays.

Be part of something Great! We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable General Catering Assistant to join our new catering team at the B&Q Distribution Centre in Blyth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fresh, modern kitchen serving homemade meals to hardworking shift workers in a busy warehouse environment.

• Serve dinner both behind the servery and on the till.
• Help create tasty, homemade dishes through food prep.
• Perform general cleaning and washing up duties.
• Stock up supplies.
• Participate in in‑house training to keep our service top‑notch.

• Experience in catering is a plus, but not essential.
• A good understanding of food safety (training provided).
• A team player with a can‑do attitude.
• Friendly and confident when dealing with customers.
• Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and confident with strong organisational and time management skills.
