Family Court Adviser; Social Worker

Position: Family Court Adviser (Social Worker)
Location: East Sussex

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Family Court Advisers (Qualified Social Workers) to join a busy and supportive team based in Brighton, covering the Sussex and Surrey areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for social workers with strong safeguarding and court experience to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families while benefiting from a competitive hourly rate and full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake assessments and provide expert advice to the Family Courts.
Prepare high-quality reports and recommendations in private and/or public law proceedings.
Work directly with children and families to understand their needs and experiences.
Analyse complex information and make evidence-based recommendations that promote the welfare and best interests of children.
Liaise effectively with local authorities, legal professionals, and partner agencies.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualification experience within children's social work.
Previous Family Court Adviser, CAFCASS, safeguarding, or court work experience is highly desirable.
Strong report writing, assessment, and analytical skills.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
