Zero Prescription Delivery Driver

11693 - We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12‑month fixed term contract at our 341 branch at 407 Queens Road, Collyhurst, Manchester, M40 8RE
.

Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at a rate of 42p per mile up to 10,000 miles, after which 25p a mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts should be obtained for each visit to the petrol station and the mileage claim submitted on a weekly basis.

• Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
• Provide a high standard of customer service, portraying a friendly professional image and acting as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
• Work under pressure to deliver the prescriptions within the designated period of time.
• Ensure prescriptions are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures, maintaining attention to detail.
• Plan and print daily routes in the branch before setting off for deliveries.
• Assist with PR exercises to increase business when required.

• Great people skills.
• Basic computer skills to plan routes.
• Own vehicle that can be used for business purposes; personal insurance policy must allow for business use. Vehicle insurance coverage will be financially supported by the Company upon proof of increased premium.
• DBS check required as part of recruitment.
