Senior Import Clerk

Location: East Sussex

This well established, expanding freight forwarder based in Feltham near Heathrow, has a new position available for an experienced import clerk, the successful candidate should have thorough knowledge of import airfreight shipments and or sea/road including a high level of Customs entry knowledge. Skills/Duties – Import Clerk Knowledge of import and or air, sea experience; 2 year’s experience upwards inc Customs Clearances, the salary is dependant on experience Varied role with cross training, air/sea/road.

Handling shipments start to finish from shipper to consignee. Handling air/sea/road/EU declarations etc. Use ASM Sequoia and Boxtop. Good English Communication and customer service skills are essential Commercially aware person who can use their initiative and have a flexible attitude Steady 5 year employment history Employment Terms – Import Clerk Salary according to experience, £30-40k DOE Paid overtime available Mon-Friday 8.30-5.30 one hour lunch Office Based 5 days per week 20 days holiday plus BH Excellent career opportunities
