Temporary to Permanent Permanent Salary: £42,000 per year. We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Night Trunk Driver to join our client's operation in Newhaven.

The Role This is a regular Monday to Friday night trunking role, operating between Newhaven and Burton upon Trent . Your typical duties will include:
Starting at the Newhaven depot Driving to Burton upon Trent Unloading a double-decker trailer Loading the vehicle Returning back to Newhaven Completing all relevant vehicle and paperwork checks Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence Maximum 6 points on your licence 12 months' minimum CE experience preferred , although candidates with less experience may be considered Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach Comfortable working regular night shifts
