Position: MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Gastroenterology

Description

We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality medical care and improving the overall health of our patients. You will be involved in a variety of gastroenterology projects, from conducting diagnostic procedures to developing treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct consultations with patients to discuss symptoms and medical history.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
  • Interpret test results and make diagnoses based on findings.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Prescribe medication and recommend lifestyle changes to improve patient health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in gastroenterology research and treatments.
  • Provide education to patients about their conditions and treatment options.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Gastroenterology.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Gastroenterologist.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret test results accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

3 clinical days and 2 administrative days per week

Call shifts required, light volume

Setting:
Outpatient

Must be board-certified
