Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) to join our team. The Energy Consultant will be responsible for conducting energy audits, delivering technical solutions, and guiding clients in implementing energy efficiency and sustainability measures. In addition to technical expertise, this role requires strong pre‑sales engagement, client presentations, solution demonstrations, and post‑sales support to ensure successful adoption of solutions and long‑term client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Technical & Audit Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive energy audits of industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities.
  • Calculate potential for energy savings and recommend feasible implementation measures.
  • Analyze energy consumption patterns, system operations, and maintenance practices.
  • Evaluate energy management systems, control strategies, and operating procedures.
  • Develop tailored energy management plans to reduce energy costs, improve efficiency, and achieve sustainability goals.
  • Provide technical guidance on energy conservation measures, renewable integration, and green technologies.
  • Monitor and evaluate post‑audit implementation, track energy savings, and prepare compliance reports.

Pre‑Sales & Business Development:

  • Support the sales team in identifying client requirements and aligning energy solutions to business needs.
  • Participate in pre‑sales meetings, RFP responses, and technical proposal preparations.
  • Conduct product/solution demonstrations, client workshops, and technical presentations to showcase value propositions.
  • Provide proof‑of‑concept (POC) support during client evaluation stages.

Client Engagement & Post‑Sales Support:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by addressing technical queries and ensuring clarity on implementation plans.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, and knowledge‑sharing programs to client teams.
  • Provide ongoing technical support post‑implementation, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to measure ROI, prepare impact reports, and highlight success stories.
  • Maintain long‑term relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for upgrades, add‑ons, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in energy audits, efficiency projects, and client‑facing roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Energy Management (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of energy systems, conservation practices, and efficiency technologies.
  • Proficiency in energy auditing tools, methodologies, and compliance reporting.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation, demonstration, and communication skills with clients at all levels.
  • Experience supporting pre‑sales, proposals, and post‑sales engagement.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy solutions (solar, wind, biomass, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Global exposure and prior corporate experience will be considered an added advantage.
