Echevarria Attorneys at Law is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join our forward-thinking team in Lewes, DE.

In this vital role, you’ll support our leading Corporate and Real Estate Attorney by managing the essential legal and administrative details that keep our business clients protected, compliant, and positioned for success. You’ll be a key player in forming new companies, maintaining existing entities, and supporting contracts and governance with accuracy and care. In addition, you’ll assist with real estate transactions, preparing closing documentation, coordinating with title companies, lenders, and Realtors, and ensuring smooth execution of both residential and commercial closings.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $55,000 — $65,000 annual salary

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client intake, gather business details, and maintain clear, professional communication with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Draft, edit, and review corporate legal documents such as operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements, resolutions, and contracts.
  • Assist with real estate closings by preparing and reviewing settlement statements, coordinating signatures, and ensuring compliance with Delaware real estate law and closing procedures.
  • Communicate with Realtors, lenders, and clients to facilitate seamless property transactions and address any title or document-related issues.
  • Coordinate the formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporations, LLCs, and partnerships.
  • Prepare and file documents with the Delaware Division of Corporations and other government agencies, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Assist with corporate governance and compliance matters, maintain entity records, and prepare annual reports.
  • Conduct legal research on corporate and contract matters to support attorney analysis and client guidance.
  • Manage due diligence for business transactions, including reviewing corporate records, contracts, and other supporting documentation.
  • Organize physical and digital client files to ensure efficient documentation management and retrieval.
  • Support attorneys with administrative and transactional tasks such as scheduling meetings, notarizing documents, handling correspondence, and managing billing records.
  • Assist in contract management—tracking deadlines, renewals, and obligations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in paralegal studies required or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in real estate or title law is strongly preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal or in a supportive legal role, preferably in corporate or transactional law.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with legal databases (e.g., Lexis Nexis, Westlaw).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to outstanding client service.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal) preferred.
