Beebe Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to support leadership and clinical excellence on our Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit
. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and a positive team environment within one of our fast-paced, high-acuity units.
In this key leadership position, the Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates closely with the Nurse Manager to plan, organize, and implement unit services
. Responsibilities include assisting with fiscal management
, performance improvement initiatives
, and regulatory and policy compliance to maintain the highest standards of safety and care. The RN Assistant Nurse Manager supports personnel processes
, fosters strong communication across multidisciplinary teams, and helps drive effective decision-making and change management.

Responsibilities- Assists the Nurse Manager in assessment, skill proficiency evaluation, equipment and supply management, patient satisfaction initiatives, staffing, and scheduling.
- Supports the Nurse Manager in overseeing the unit.
- Assists with the management of personnel processes, including but not limited to hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Effectively communicates information to staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
- Assists the Nurse Manager in making timely decisions and managing change processes.
- Collaborates with all departments as part of the management team.
- Utilizes a personal cell phone for business purposes.
- Prior RN experience in acute care setting (Minimum of 2 years preferred)
- Experience in hospital or acute care setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patients and team members.
- Ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to patients, team members, and visitors.
- Knowledge and experience with electronic health records.
Essential:
Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
NIH Stroke Certification.
EducationEssential:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Magnet Recognition preferred).
OR RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program + Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Active pursuit of a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) if not already possessing a BSN.
