- Collects adequate and correct blood/urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment
- Correctly labels specimens and processes
- Ensures appropriate delivery of specimens to the lab via courier or specimen pick up from outside agencies
- Medication safety
- Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.
- PALS within 6 months required
- TNCC within 1 year required
Essential:
- Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
- Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
- Ability To Keep Confidential Patient and Team Member Information
- Ability To Withstand Crisis Situations
- Customer Service Skills for Patients, Team Members, and Visitors
- Knowledge and Experience with Electronic Health Records
Essential:
- RN - Registered Nurse
- BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NIH - Stroke Certification
Nonessential:
- BABY Certification - 15 Hrs Online, 5 Hrs Observation
Essential:
- RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program
Entry: USD $36.20/Hr.
Max: USD $59.73/Hr.
