Residential Direct Support Professional

At Autism Delaware POW&R, we seek flexible, dedicated individuals to work as Residential Direct Support Professionals in the Lewes area. We are looking for amazing part-time and PRN direct support professionals to join our residential team supporting a young woman in our supported living service. Shifts 3pm to 8pm. We offer a weekend shift differential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest quality of care to individuals with autism in their private residences
• Supporting a home environment that ensures the participant is safe, cared for, and engaged in their community.
• Providing transportation to social and recreational activities in your own car
• Ensuring health and wellness
• Advocating for those we support
• Assisting in developing and implementing a support plan
• Documenting progress, support provided, and activities
• Must possess the ability to adapt to diverse work situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Minimum Requirements to be considered include :

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Proof of High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver's license and Auto Insurance
• A reliable vehicle to assist with community access
• Favorably pass all background checks
• Must have full range of motion, physical strength, and ability to achieve and maintain paid training and certifications.
