My client, a growing and dynamic manufacturing company, is seeking a Construction Accounting Specialist. This company offers growth opportunities, great benefits (including a 401(k) match), generous PTO, and a supportive culture with many long-tenured employees. The role is hybrid (one day from home weekly) in Lewisburg, TN, with the option to work remotely. The salary is up to $75,000. Permanent direct hire.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist:
- Process AIA G702/G703 billings and monthly progress billings
- Maintain continuation sheets, schedules of values, and change orders
- Manage customer invoicing and portal submissions
- Track approvals, retention, and payment status
- Prepare and manage lien waivers and compliance documentation
- Analyze inventory activity and customer profitability
- Evaluate product-line performance and pricing audits
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and special projects
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist:
- AIA billing is required
- Ability to work onsite four days a week
