Weekend Recreation Assistant
Location: NHC Health Care Oakwood, Lewisburg, TN
Employment type: Part‑time – Weekends (with occasional weekdays)
Job Summary: The Recreation Assistant will work every weekend, providing daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our senior residents. The role requires compassion, creativity, teamwork, and energy to deliver wellness programming in long‑term care.
Responsibilities- Promote and lead recreational programs on a daily basis
- Assist with documentation including attendance, assessments and progress notes
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and be a team player
- 1 year of experience working with the elderly in a long term care setting preferred, but not required
