Food Service Dish Washer – Aide

We are looking for a secure and reliable Food Service Dish Washer – Aide to join our Food and Nutrition Services team at NHC Health Care Oakwood located in Lewisburg, TN
. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen environment.

• Demonstrate qualities of a self‑starter and be able to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Manage the FNS Department in the absence of the FNS Manager and act as the supervisor when the manager or assistant manager is not available.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all regulations (local, state, and federal) that affect FNS, including patient care, sanitation, labor, fire, safety, and disaster compliance.
• Assist in maintaining the FNS department in a safe, secure, and sanitary manner and report any problems to the FNS Manager.
• Use good judgment in conserving supplies, preventing food waste, and conserving utilities; report any food, supply, and equipment needs or concerns to the FNS Manager.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and assure quality products; date, label, and store items properly and use proper food handling techniques.
