Home Health Aide (HHA) provides assigned functions of personal care to patients in the home under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes, ensuring dignity and comfort, following care plans supervised by the Registered Nurse.

• Completion of ninth grade in school.
• Documentation of successful completion of a Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program meeting 42 CFR §484.80 standards.
• Completion of at least seventy-five (75) hours of training, including sixteen (16) hours of clinical training.
• Provision of home health aide services for compensation since completion of required training, without a 24‑month lapse in furnishing services for compensation.
• Current Driver’s License, car insurance, and good driving record.
