Quality Director

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Quality Director to lead quality assurance in manufacturing and drive operational excellence across aerospace, defense, factory automation, and other advanced technology markets.

This position will be responsible for quality assurance in manufacturing. It will:

• Contribute information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans.
• Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Identify and resolve problems and determine system improvements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standards to meet company and customer expectations.
• Prioritize schedules based on product introduction and customer needs.
• Participate in the review of customer designs to contribute quality assurance requirements and considerations.
• Assist product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.
• Assist with and improve product quality by participating in product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
• Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.

• B.S. in Business Management or Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QA, SMT, and microelectronics manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Hands‑on, excellent communication, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work > 40 hours per week, including weekends and evenings as needed.
