Are you an experienced, organised, compassionate and proactive Medical Secretary looking to make a real difference to children and families? Join our friendly Community Child Health team at Kaleidoscope, where you will work as part of a small team of medical secretaries providing vital support to Consultants, Specialty Doctors and multidisciplinary teams delivering care to children and young people across Lewisham.

In this rewarding role, you will manage correspondence, referrals, patient administration, and diary management, helping ensure children and families receive a high-quality service. You will be a key point of contact for families, clinicians, GPs and partner organisations. We're looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, who is approachable, adaptable and committed to delivering outstanding administrative support. If you enjoy working collaboratively, building strong relationships and making things happen in a busy environment.

The Medical Secretary provides comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to consultants, speciality doctors and clinical teams within Community Paediatrics. The post holder is responsible for managing correspondence, diary co-ordination, patient administration, referrals and medico-legal documents, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, professionally and within agreed timescales. The role acts as a key point of contact for families, clinicians, GPs and partner organisations, maintaining high standards of confidentiality, customer service and administrative quality.
