Are you a Design and Technology Teacher looking for a new role from September 2026?

A well-regarded secondary school in Lewisham is seeking a committed Design and Technology Teacher to join their department. This role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher who enjoys delivering practical, well-structured lessons and supporting pupils to develop strong design and making skills.

You will be teaching Design and Technology across KS3-KS4, with the opportunity to contribute to GCSE courses depending on experience. The department is well resourced and works closely together, with a clear focus on consistency and good classroom practice.

• Teach Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver practical and theory-based lessons
• Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment
• Support pupils with coursework and GCSE preparation

• QTS and a relevant Design and Technology degree or specialism
• Confident classroom management and clear teaching style
• Able to deliver engaging, practical lessons safely and effectively

• Supportive and experienced Design and Technology department
• Good behaviour and clear school systems
• Ongoing CPD and opportunities to develop within the school

Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London)
