We’re recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Lewisham on a maternity cover basis. This is a full class teaching role starting 9th March and running until the end of the academic year, offering the opportunity to make a real impact during a key stage in pupils’ development.

The Role – Year 2 Teacher

You will take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum. You’ll support pupils as they consolidate key skills and prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2, fostering confidence and a love of learning.

Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Have experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* Plan creative, well-structured, and differentiated lessons

* Use assessment effectively to support pupil progress

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

* Be available full-time from 9th March
