We are partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Lewisham looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2. This is your chance to work closely with students, make a difference in their learning, and be a key part of a supportive school community.

Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to provide targeted support and interventions

What You’ll Do

Support pupils’ learning across KS1 and KS2 with tailored guidance
Assist the class teacher with lesson planning and classroom organisation
Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions to help pupils thrive
Encourage engagement, focus, and confidence in every lesson
Support smooth classroom routines, transitions, and positive behaviour
Be part of a team committed to pupils’ academic success and well-being

What We’re Looking For

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grades 4–9)
Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a primary school
A proactive, patient, and positive approach to teaching and learning
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is a bonus
