* SEN Teaching Assistant – Strong communication, behaviour and emotional regulation support skills essential

The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

Seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4–19 with autism and associated learning needs. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils access the curriculum and reinforce personalised strategies to support communication, behaviour and engagement. The role involves collaborating with teachers, therapists and specialists to ensure pupils thrive in a structured, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

This specialist provision is located in the London Borough of Lewisham and is within walking distance of a nearby London Overground station. The school caters for children and young people with autism and related needs throughout their education from early years to post-16 and works closely with outreach and support services to drive best practice. The school was judged ‘Good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
