About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Southeast London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love of literature, language, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

* Plan and prepare engaging, creative lessons that support students of all abilities.

* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with curriculum expectations.

* Contribute to the wider school community and the ongoing development of the English department.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language and the national curriculum.

* Ability to explain complex concepts clearly while encouraging critical thinking.

* A passion for motivating and challenging students to achieve their best.

* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
