Teacher Active SEN Tutor Recruitment - Greenwich Area

Teacher Active is seeking experienced SEN Tutors in the Greenwich area.

In this role, you will work on a one-to-one basis or in small groups with pupils who have SEMH and ASD needs. Sessions may take place in educational settings, libraries, or at the pupil's home.

We are looking for candidates to start immediately for a full-time position.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience delivering 1:1 or small group sessions confidently
  • Ability to work independently in various venues
  • Strong connection-building skills with children and families
  • Excellent knowledge of KS3/KS4 curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate curriculum creatively and effectively
  • Experience and understanding of working with SEMH/SEN students
  • Undergraduate degree or relevant experience with SEND pupils
  • Proficiency in English and Maths
  • Understanding of different learning difficulties and disabilities (SEMH, ASC, challenging behaviour)
  • Adaptability to different working environments and student needs
  • Practical approach to supporting students with learning difficulties
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a caring attitude
  • Flexibility regarding working patterns
