EYFS Teaching Assistant - Deptford, SE London - SEND Support

A welcoming Primary School in Deptford, SE London is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team. This EYFS Teaching Assistant role offers the opportunity to support children with SEND needs, including personal care, and to play a key role in their learning and development.

The school is looking for a proactive and confident EYFS Teaching Assistant who enjoys spending time outside with children and can support both their educational and social development.

Responsibilities of the EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Supporting Reception children with SEND needs as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Assisting with personal care and intimate support as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Delivering structured learning activities in small groups or 1:1 as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Encouraging independence and social skills as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Supporting outdoor play and learning as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Collaborating with class teachers and the SENCO as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in a primary school

Be confident supporting children with SEND and personal care as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Be proactive, caring, and enthusiastic about working with young children as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Enjoy spending time outdoors and promoting outdoor learning as a EYFS Teaching Assistant

Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply through us
