Contract:
Permanent, 35 hours a week (8am to 4pm), Mondays to Fridays, 42.9 weeks
Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good two-form entry Primary Academy in Lewisham, Southeast London, looking for a permanent full-time HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant).
As an HLTA, you'll create an engaging learning environment and plan and teach whole class lessons to cover teachers' PPA time primarily within Early Years (EYFS) but sometimes also across KS1 and KS2.

Qualifications, experience, and skills required include:
A*-C grade in English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent
TA qualification
HLTA qualification is desired
Experience working with pupils within Early Years (EYFS) in a primary school
Experience leading whole classes
Experience of working with children with SEND (ASD/ ADHD/ Attachment difficulties)
Calm, patient and caring attitude with a good sense of humour
A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
Passion to make a positive difference
