About the Business An exciting opportunity to join a high-growth, PE-backed financial services organisation during a significant period of expansion. This role offers the opportunity to join a commercial, growth-focused finance function and work closely with senior leadership during an exciting stage of the company’s journey. Role Details
Contract:
12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Salary: £60,000–£65,000
Location:
Birmingham City Centre Working Pattern:
Initially on-site during onboarding, moving to 3–4 days per week in the office thereafter.
Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow and reconciliations. Oversee payroll, supplier payments, invoicing and credit control. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and financial controls. Liaise with auditors, accountants and external providers. Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decisions. Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs. Support the Finance Director and senior leadership with financial planning and strategy.
Essential Requirements ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
Experience with in financial services, ideally IFA or wealth management. Knowledge of FCA regulations and financial compliance. Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills. Confident using accounting and financial reporting systems. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Interested?
