Job Title: Band 7 Echocardiographer

Location: Lewisham

Contract: Ongoing, Full Time (Locum)

Pay Rate: Up to £35 per hour (dependent on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Band 7 Echocardiographer to join a dynamic cardiac team in Lewisham on an ongoing full-time locum basis. • Perform comprehensive echocardiography examinations in line with BSE guidelines
• Analyse, interpret and produce detailed reports on echo cardiographic findings to support diagnosis and treatment planning
• Work collaboratively with cardiologists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiac care
• Maintain accurate, thorough and timely patient documentation
• Ensure all echocardiography equipment is used safely and maintained to the highest operational standards
• Adhere to clinical governance, infection control and professional regulatory requirements

• HCPC registered Cardiac Physiologist or equivalent professional registration
• Significant experience performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiography
• Strong understanding of BSE guidelines and cardiac diagnostic standards
• Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• BSE accreditation
• Full UK driving licence
