The post holder will undertake assessment of clients, offer clinical advice and support clients being screened for Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV. The post holder will work within competencies at all times.

Participate in the care of the HIV positive client. Provide support to the senior nursing and medical team in the on-going care and monitoring of the positive client.
Support the HIV Specialist Pharmacist adherence clinic as required
Support community clinical, educational and professional outreach.
.Assess, and refer clients for termination of pregnancy.
undertake vaccination/immunisation as required.
Document consultations and investigations clearly and accurately and follow up results.
Undertake additional training if required
Experience- Proven experience of good communication
- Proven ability to work within local and national policy/guidelines
- Proven experience of good communication
- Experience of contributing towards written reports and audit
- Registered Nurse
- Sexual Health & Contraception Qualification (or equivalent)
- Teaching Qualification/ Mentor course
- Completion of Diplomate Assessment of the Faulty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (NDFSRH)
