As an Associate Product Manager, you will help develop and improve digital products that make a real difference to Lewisham's residents, businesses and staff. You will take ownership of a digital product, or a defined set of features within a larger product, shaping its vision, roadmap and priorities while using evidence and user insight to guide decisions. Working alongside product designers, software developers, architects and other specialists, you will turn user and business needs into accessible, usable digital services.

You will engage with stakeholders and partner organisations, facilitate workshops and demonstrations, manage a prioritised product backlog, and define measures that show whether the product is delivering the intended outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their product management career within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. You will gain experience across the full product lifecycle, including discovery, development, testing, launch and operational support, while contributing to digital services that meet the changing needs of a growing borough.

Experience of managing digital products, creating a product vision and goals and leading a development team towards these goals. Knowledge of the IT industry/technology solutions to manage and support the provision of digital solutions across the Council. Good understanding and experience of gathering and clarifying business requirements Good understanding and experience of managing the delivery of digital solutions to agreed business specifications Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams Ability to communicate and generate understanding on technical issues for non-technical stakeholders Able to think, plan and act strategically and develop creative and innovative solutions to complex issues.

Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and associate technology (Desirable)
