By joining the LGT Epic Training Team, you will play a key role in helping colleagues confidently use the Trust's Electronic Patient Record system, ultimately supporting safer, more efficient patient care. In the Epic Credentialed Trainer role, you will:
- Understand Epic workflows and system functionality
- Learn how to deliver engaging classroom and virtual learning sessions
- Support staff with training queries and administration activities
- Build confidence in facilitating discussions and answering learner questions
- Develop professionally as part of a recognised digital training team
This is a fantastic opportunity to be play a pivotal role in a once-in-a-generation digital transformation programme. Please note, this role requires you to be mostly onsite, delivering classroom training across different sites of the Trust and partner organisations.
As part of supporting a 24/7 NHS service, the post holder may be required to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays when necessary. Secondments will be subject to current line manager's approval.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to join the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Implementation Programme as Epic Credentialed Trainer (Junior IT Trainer). We are looking for individuals who are confident communicators, enjoy helping others, and are willing to learn.
Clinical experience, operational knowledge, and an understanding of how care is delivered are often more valuable than technical expertise. You will receive comprehensive support and training to build the knowledge and confidence required to deliver efficient Epic training. Successfully completing the credentialing process will lead to recognition as an Epic Credentialed Trainer, a respected qualification within the Epic and NHS digital communities.
