The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical teaching and supervision for junior nursing staff and the orientation of new staff to the A&E department.
Responsibilities- Designate a minimum of 80% of their time in clinical practice.
- Work in close collaboration with the ED Matrons and Senior Nursing team in addition to the ED Medical team, Practice Development Nurses across the Trust, representatives from universities and other key personnel across the clinical and organisational multi-disciplinary teams.
- Lead and deliver accredited courses that the department runs through the Trust clinical academy.
Applicants must fulfill all the requirements set out in the Personal Specification of the Job Description. Applicants must be committed and enthusiastic about working alongside our staff, supporting them in their development in line with the demands and requirements for ED nursing, and must be able to contribute to our training programme.
