Supported Housing Officer - £11,573.12 a year (rising to £12,036.04 after probation) – Lewisham

Looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference in your local community? Want to use your skills to support others in a way that truly matters?

Join Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) and help adults with mental health needs feel safe, supported and ready to move forward. In this part-time role, mainly based across two regular days a week, you’ll help people settle into housing, build their independence, and take positive steps towards recovery.

The Role

As a Supported Housing Officer, you’ll be a steady presence for people facing real challenges—offering support, encouragement, and practical help. You’ll be someone clients can rely on as they rebuild their confidence and day-to-day skills.

You’ll help clients settle in, understand their rights and responsibilities, and feel 'll assist with setting goals, managing benefits and accessing the support they need. It’s about building trust, being hands-on, and making sure the accommodation is safe, clean and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

Support a caseload of clients through regular check-ins
Carry out new resident inductions, including risk assessments
Help clients set and work towards personal goals
Provide basic guidance on housing and benefits
Keep clear records on our client system (Inform)
Carry out property checks and report issues promptly
Light cleaning duties as needed (e.g. after move-ins or voids)
Respond professionally to incidents or emergencies
Work independently, with the support of a wider team
