Situated in the bustling heart of Catford, you will earn £37.52 per hour over a full-time schedule of 35 hours a week. Your journey will take you across South East London and occasionally further afield to ensure the highest standards of care in children’s accommodation.

• Conduct comprehensive quality assurance reviews across all Care Resources services to ensure compliance with statutory duties and regulatory expectations.
• Evaluate provider performance and care environments, making insightful recommendations for improvement.
• Work collaboratively with care providers to drive enhancement through action planning and follow-up visits.
• Nurture placement stability and safeguard children’s welfare through comprehensive oversight.
• Lead a programme of Quality Assurance visits, mentoring other placement officers in conducting effective evaluations.
• Develop detailed reports to present outcomes and themes from quality assurance visits.

• You are a qualified and registered Social Worker with substantial experience in safeguarding, quality assurance, and assessments.
• You possess a background in fostering, kinship, SGO, or placement services, with outstanding analytical and communication skills.
• You are confident in providing professional challenge and influencing improvement, always keeping children’s voices and needs at the forefront.
