Document Operations Specialist
On‑site position in Lewiston, Idaho

- Basic math and PC skills
- Ability to understand, follow, and perform detailed work procedures under pressure
- Flexibility in working hours and excellent attendance
- Strong organizational and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and stand/walk for prolonged periods
- Basic knowledge of U.S. Postal Service mailing rules and regulations
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity (highly desired)
Minimum Requirements
- Proficient PC skills, 10‑key calculator usage
- Good organizational skills
- Communication with vendors and PC support regarding equipment problems
- Knowledge of scanning equipment, PC, and Windows experience
- Document Operations Specialist I – High School Diploma or GED plus basic mail center, imaging, inventory, office or USPS experience (or equivalent). Valid state driver’s license may be required.
- Document Operations Specialist II – High School Diploma or GED plus one year of related production experience. Valid driver’s license may be required.
- Document Operations Specialist Senior – High School Diploma or GED plus 2‑3 years of experience. Valid driver’s license may be required.
- Sort and prepare documents, open envelopes, remove contents, remove staples, tape torn pages, flatten documents.
- Utilize imaging scanner/PC combinations to index and scan claims, membership documents, corporate records following procedures.
- Verify documents imaging quality, inspect images for legibility.
- Commit all scanned documents to appropriate systems (RADAR, Query System) for retrieval.
- Identify and sort documents by job type for different departments.
- Operate PC‑based mail processing equipment (inserters, sorters, meters).
- Receive, sort, distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail/packages for shipping.
- Maintain postage in meters, record meter readings.
- Encrypt accuracy and quality checks before mailing.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance, minor repairs.
- Document and report production issues to Lead/Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Record and document daily work to ensure timely turnaround.
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Secure work areas, maintain adequate supplies.
- Operate equipment at 85% (Level II) / 90% (Senior) of manufacturer’s rated capacity.
- Maintain error ratio
