Kindred Healthcare - St. Joseph Regional Medical Center [Medical Records Clerk] As a Registrar at Kindred Healthcare, you'll:
Perform receptionist, registration, and clerical duties associated with direct and scheduled patient admissions;
Ensure that all necessary demographic, billing, and clinical information is obtained and entered in the registration system;
Distribute and explain forms, documents, and educational handouts to patients or family members;
Meet with the patient or patient's caregiver before or after admission;
Communicate with the admitting physician's office, nursing unit staff, and/or other appropriate personnel.
