Multi-Unit Team Leader

Multi-Unit Team Leader at H&R Block. You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, leading customer-centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business. This is a front-line management role with responsibility for developing associates and delivering an outstanding client experience across three offices.

• Lead three H&R Block tax offices and manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Provide leadership and development for associates to deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives across three offices.
• Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall; transition to full-time January–April, including evenings and weekends as needed; in-person, not remote.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
• Help create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across all offices.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• Your Expertise:
  People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates; growth plan execution; strong decision-making; interpersonal and communication skills; customer-centric mindset; proficiency in MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a high school diploma with the equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
• Preferred:
  Multi-unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industry.
