Position:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care in the operating room. The OR RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory requirements, physician orders, and hospital policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling surgical cases Ensuring availability of supplies and equipment Maintaining case timeliness Communicating with patients’ families Updating physician preference cards Scrubbing and circulating surgical cases Supervising personnel involved in patient care Facility Requirements:
Idaho RN license or multistate RN license (must be attached with submission) ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached) Minimum 3 years of recent OR RN experience in a hospital setting Required experience includes:
General Surgery Ortho Trauma Neuro DaVinci experience preferred Robotic knee replacement experience preferred
Schedule:
Day shift: 8-hour shifts, 06:30 – 15:00 Monday through Friday On-call:
