Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift position requiring an active  compact RN license and two years of recent OR experience.

• Work in an Operating Room (OR) setting within a hospital environment
• Shift schedule is 06:30 to 17:00 on designated days
• Care for surgical patients as a member of the OR team
• No details provided regarding on-call requirements or floating
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel pay eligibility
• Must not be employed as a permanent staff member within the same health system at the time of application
• Electronic timekeeping system is used for clocking in and out
• All certifications must be from accepted authorities; RQI and RCIS certifications are not accepted
• Local candidates are accepted with a reduced pay rate

• Active  compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of two years recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; certifications must not expire within 30 days of start date
• No extended work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number is required for consideration;
  Canadian SIN not accepted
