Cashier III – Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest

Location:

Lewiston,  | Full time / Hourly | Wage: $16.86 per hour

Assist store management in retail operations. Operate with minimal supervision. Provide outstanding customer service.

• Maintain cash handling and security policies.
• Interact with customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner.
• Ensure the facility and surrounding premises are kept neat, clean, and free of safety hazards.
• Train and evaluate employees in a thorough, organized, and timely manner.
• Maximize financial performance; identify deviation from desired results.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans as needed.
• Comply with all Goodwill policies and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services.
• Maintain agency confidentiality; violation leads to immediate dismissal.
• Comply with all health, safety, and fire standards and all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• Retail experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with personal auto insurance; background and driver record check required.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills, courteous and personable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of merchandise, cash register operation and change-making skills.
• Outgoing, pleasant personality and appropriate grooming and hygiene.
