About The Role
As an Installation Technician at Granite Concepts, you’ll be part of a skilled, customer-focused team dedicated to delivering the best counter top experience in the region. You’ll work on-site installing high-quality stone and solid surface countertops while representing Granite Concepts with professionalism, respect, and pride.
What You’ll Do
- Install stone and solid surface countertops safely, efficiently, and accurately on customer job sites.
- Remove existing countertops and plumbing when required, keeping the workspace clean and organized.
- Respond to customer questions or concerns on-site, escalating to the office if needed.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and maintain focus on completing jobs 100% the day of install.
- Communicate clearly with customers and the assigned Customer Service Representative throughout the job.
- Follow assigned schedules and notify customers if running early or behind.
- Maintain company vehicles, trailers, and tools to Granite Concepts’ standards for cleanliness and organization.
- Support inventory tracking and preparation for upcoming installs.
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a professional attitude in every interaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic measuring and math skills.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Outstanding attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel within a 150-mile radius (occasional overnight stays).
- Commitment to safety, respect, and maintaining a positive workplace.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical exam.
The Pay Range for This Role is 19 – 22 USD per hour.
