• Provide technical service to diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines, and components.
• Overhaul gas and diesel engines.
• Install and replace injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, head bolts, rods, main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan housings, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, and transmissions.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, diagnose malfunctions, and establish repair procedures.
• Inspect protective guards and safety devices; make adjustments as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and verify vehicle performance against specifications.
• Tag warranty parts and return them to the warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay current with factory technical bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships to increase overall satisfaction.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Valid driver license (CDL).
• Preferred:
  Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, and/or ASE certifications.

Minimum Pay Rate: USD $20.00/hour. Maximum Pay Rate: USD $35.00/hour.
