This contract position is based on-site in Lewiston and is ideal for medical professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of rheumatology while working in a supportive staffing and recruiting environment.

In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various rheumatological conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial part in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat rheumatological conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and their families about rheumatological diseases
• Stay current with advancements in rheumatology and best practices
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree
• Associate level experience in Rheumatology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Knowledge of current rheumatological treatments and therapies

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call coverage required

Setting:
Outpatient

Daily Census: 20 patients

Patient Population:
Adults

Facility:
Lab draws on site, 4 infusion rooms

Support Staff: 1 physician, 1 APP

Must be board-certified
