Starting Salary $19.91/hour. Earn more if you have an Early Childhood Degree!

• Tier Level 1 – Maine Roads to Quality Registry Levels Level 1, 2, 3, 4 — $240 per month
• Tier Level 2 – Levels 5, 6 — $360 per month
• Tier Level 3 – Levels 7, 8 — $540 per month

Promise Early Education has both Year Round Full Time and Part Year (late August – early June) positions available. We are in need of both Head Start and Early Head Start Teacher Assistants.

Early Head Start Teacher Assistants will be primarily with children 0-3 years old.

Head Start Teacher Assistant will be primarily with children 3-5 years old.

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
• Assist classroom teachers with classroom management
• Fill in when the Teacher is out of the classroom
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, get down on the floor with children for floor time activities
• Must have reliable transportation
• Computer skills are required
• Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
