Speech and Language Pathologist

Spurwink Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a full-time position within our Lewiston Day Treatment Program. The position offers a diverse professional experience including screening, evaluation, treatment, and consultation for youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities, ages 5 to 20.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus! Up to total $5,000, paid in installments: $2,500 after 3 months of full-time employment and $1,250 after 6 months.

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide consultation, direct instruction, and modeling both in and out of the classroom to develop a total language/communication environment.
• Provide in‑service education and/or consultation to clinical and educational personnel concerning communication intervention strategies.
• Supervise assigned speech pathology interns and assistants when applicable.

Master's degree in Communication Disorders and Maine State License in Speech‑Language Pathology required.
