Supervisory Social Worker

This position is eligible for the Aufgabe Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Applicants must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) trasfer and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after a complete review of the EDRP application.

This position is multidisciplinary and may be filled as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor at the Program Manager/Coordinator level. The role serves as a Supervisory Social Worker RCS Vet Center Director (VCD) and is responsible for professional and administrative supervision and oversight of all readjustment counseling, outreach, referrals, and follow-up care coordination services provided to eligible individuals within the designated Vet Center Service Area (VSA).
