What You’ll Do
  • Conduct wound assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor healing.
  • Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and advanced wound therapies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, therapists) on wound management.
  • Educate patients and families on wound prevention and care in the home.
  • Document and track patient outcomes using evidence-based wound care practices.
  • Provide consultations in community, home, and acute care settings as needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Master’s degree in nursing and certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
  • One year of recent clinical nursing experience required.
  • Current R.N. license in the State of Maine.
  • Current CPR Card.
  • WOCN or equivalent wound care certification (required).
  • Must have a reliable and insured automobile and have a current Maine driver’s license.
  • Independent malpractice insurance strongly advised.
