• Travelers with licensure and/or background hits will not be considered.

The Adult Chemical Dependency Unit provides care to patients ages 15 and older. The most frequent diagnoses' are physiological dependency to alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and/or other drugs. Many patients will also have other associated psychiatric diagnoses' such as depression, psychosis, and bipolar disorder. The Adult Chemical Dependency Unit operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Adult Chemical Dependency Unit is located on the D4 wing of St.

Mary's Regional Medical Center.

• BLS certification required
• CPI Required
• “Staff must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, monitoring, assessment, and providing care for a patient in restraint or seclusion.” to ensure competency has been validated by the agency employing the staff member
