Temporary Registered Nurse RN – Med Surgical/T1
Central Maine Healthcare is looking for a Temporary Registered Nurse to join their team on the Medical Surgery unit.
This position is full‑time
, 36 hours on Day or Night Shift available, on a temporary basis for 13 weeks with the possibility of a second 13‑week extension for a total of 26 weeks. It pays $60 per hour.
The RN is responsible for managing individualized direct patient care for pediatric through geriatric patient populations, promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing an exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout hospitalization; acting as patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments.
Education and Experience- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Maine; BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Bilingual.
- Ability to engage patients and team members utilizing the CMH Experience Standards.
